As a member of the G20 B20 India Action Council's African Economic Integration group, I am involved in developing and promoting strategies to enhance economic integration between Africa and the global business community. Additionally, I am a member of the task force on Digital Transformation, which aims to explore and implement innovative digital solutions to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency. In these roles, I also provide policy advice and support to help inform decision-making processes.

Role & Responsibilities in G20 Startup20 India
As a Foundation Taskforce member of the G20 Startup20 engagement, I am excited to be part of an initiative that supports business startups globally. Startup20 is an official engagement group established under the G20 India Presidency 2023 that acts as a dialogue forum with the global startup ecosystem stakeholders. Our aim is to represent the global startup ecosystem to raise macroeconomic concerns and challenges faced by entrepreneurs with G20 leaders.
Through a consensus-based approach, we seek to bring forward key topics for discussion and formulate recommendations against each priority area. Our Task Forces are structured to develop key priorities and bring forward topics in which recommendations would be formulated to support the startup ecosystems globally. Such recommendations would be conveyed through a communique to the G20 India presidency and taken up during the G20 Summit 2023.
Our objectives include harmonizing the global startup ecosystem through consensus-based definitions, promoting a global community of knowledge sharing, bridging the knowledge gap between the startup ecosystems of G20 member countries and emerging economies through partnerships, and enabling more industry players across G20 nations to work with startups and co-create solutions.
I am proud to be part of this initiative that aims to create supportive policies for industry players and government organizations to work with startups and provide a country point of contact for sustained collaboration. Through Startup20, we hope to advance important subjects for discussion and develop recommendations that will support the growth of startups globally.
